My first time buying groceries they were damages and terrible customer service I dont suggest giving them your business.

Order arrived overpacked in too heavy box with products inside damaged. Only way to contact customer service is through email and they never bothered to respond.

This app is extremely easy to navigate through. I see new products on there every day, and, with my order, I received a very nice hand written note from the person who packed it! Thank you!!

This app is awesome if youre in college. I live in a dorm and I dont have a car on campus so I started using Boxed. Everything is shipped so fast and they always have amazing deals. The snacks are awesome and way cheaper than getting it anywhere around campus cause its bulk size!!!!!!!

Boxed has been adding a lot of new products and fixing glitches in the app. Their prices are pretty competitive and they always have little freebies or coupons. This is definitely useful for someone (like me) that relies on public transportation for household shopping. The lines at the few Costcos in NY are ridiculous anyways...

I selected to get alerts because I want important notifications. I received multiple alerts in one day about free ping pong balls with some purchase. This is not important. My phone is not a billboard. Deleted the app.

So as I am on this app, I also searched the exact same product on Walmart.com and walmarts prices are still cheaper on everything by like $5?? Why pay more for things and then take longer to get here!? lol doesnt make sense

Great selection of items, some of which I can buy for less in other stores without a membership fee. Found an item I buy exactly for $1 more on this site. Of course I pay a membership fee to buy it. But on average I feel the prices here are higher. Even if I didnt mind paying the extra $1 an item, I would surpass my membership fee quickly with the shipping costs added here. I think this site has its benefits. It is great for college students as I read in a previous review or for those that cant get out to make purchases.

Prices are higher on most items I buy from Sams. Also, they dont carry nearly the variety that Sams has, so, why shop here and there when I can get everything at Sams and predominantly for less? To whom it may concern at Boxed.com... If you can offer everything available at the local wholesale stores then youve got a chance. Until then... Free shipping on my first order wont tip the scale in your favor.

Why buy 3 times as much as I need when it is cheaper on Amazon and jet? I would buy more than I need if it were cheaper. Thats why Costco works. This app is overpriced.

I love the idea of this App. However, I feel like Im overpaying if I dont Google all the latest discount codes first. Theyre often a flat amount instead of a percentage, so you have to split up your orders to get the most discount. I would rather they just be priced correctly in the first place and not make me search for deals. That and the rewards program further leads me to believe they are leaving a lot of wiggle room in their pricing. Please just lower the prices and get rid of the quirks.

I downloaded this app and made an account just to see what kinds of products they could deliver to me. It turns out that other users are right - the products that this app is offering are overpriced. For example, this app has an 8-pack of Progresso Chicken Noodle Soup priced at $11.99, which means that each individual can costs $1.50. Thats not so bad, but I can get 8 cans for $1.25 each at my local Walmart. In this case, you dont even need a club membership to get a better deal elsewhere; which is just plain sad. Moreover, the app claims that the retail price of each can is $3.37. I dont know where they got that price from but I have never seen this particular brand of soup priced that high at ANY store. It seems to me that the makers of this app might be exaggerating the retail prices of products to make it seem like youre getting this great deal when in reality you could pay even less than that if you just drove to your local supermarket and purchased the products there. tl;dr: This app smells like a huge ripoff to me; and evidently other users as well. Youre paying more for the convenience of not having to leave your home when you could find better deals right down the street.

I love using Boxed because I save so much time getting the products I need in bulk delivered right to my doorsteps all in a box. The last thing I want to do on a Saturday afternoon is spend 20 minutes to find parking, wait 40 minutes on line, then spend another 20 minutes unloading every item in to my car and get out of the heavily trafficked parking lot...only to go home and struggle to get all my goods from my car into my house since wholesale clubs dont have plastic bags/boxes to bring in all my items in more efficiently. For someone like me who sees time as money, I am saving a lot of money (time) by shopping at Boxed. It has made my life so much easier. Thank you Boxed!
